Looking through my copy of De Re Atari last night I discovered an assembler
program that is supposed to produce a very good sine wave.

If it would be useful to you, perhaps you can convince someone here to
type in the program and post it in the Atari SIG.  (A good place to put it
would be the Resource Center in the 8-Bit Programming Forum.)
