With a ST-Emulator you can run 77.1 % of the ST(E)-Games. In reality I expect ~65 %... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some hints for ST-Emulators: 1.) If you get 2 Bombs, try the STE-Bus-Emulation-Mode. 2.) If you don't get correct sound, try to switch between "Timer A" and "MFP"-Interrupt. Try "ST-Sound corrected". 3.) If your game is protected and doesn't load properly try to switch off both caches and switch the CPU to 8 MHz. 4.) In Backward always use "TOS patched" and "STE-Bus-Mode". You have no disadvantages when using them. 5.) Set the Bootup-resolution to ST-Low. There are some programs which allow you to alter the Non-Volatile-RAM of the Falcon. 6.) If you have TOS 4.01 try to get TOS 4.02 from Atari! Backward has problems with some (!) TOS 4.01 versions and so are the games. 7.) Known ST-Emulators: Backward - Lots of switches, nice GEM-Interface, the best! Magi-Boot - The first ST-Emulator. Gamefix - German STE-Emulator ("TOS-Disk"), nice. VCB - Writes Bootsectors.
