IF YOU WOULD CHANGE THE CRYSTAL IN THE COMPUTER TO A HIGHER
SPEED CRYSTAL WOULD THE COMPUTERS CIRCUITS BE ABLE TO HANDLE
THE FASTER SPEED?

        The answer is usually "NO".  
There are several things to be considered:
        1. Internal timing of the MPU,
        2. Memory access time, and
        3. Monitor timing--
to name a few.  These are usually all
inter-related, and while some "crystal
speed-up's" work, most won't.
